Excellent Choice for Wireless Camera

After a lengthly search for a good wireless security camera, Finally found Ezviz ezguard which fits my needs. No holes and wiring all over the house, clear day and night video, user friendly Ezviz App with many option to fit your configuration requirements. The set up and installation was a breeze. Make sure to insert the micro sdcard before set up. Also It takes several minutes (I think around 15 minutes) before you can initialize the sdcard. Just wait patiently for the prompt. The App latest update is much better with more features. Was satisfied with the first one so I bought another two. I installed all three covering the front porch, driveway and backyard. Thinking of getting another one but don’t know yet where to put it. Highly recommended for those who don’t want to put holes and wiring around the house. Just make sure your internet speed and coverage is adequate.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bad microphone and overheating

I had to return this product because of following:
1. Bad microphone. I could barely hear what people speak. Do not buy if you are attracted by 2-way audio advertising.
2. Overheating. Security camera is a relatively simple device, it should not become so hot that I could barely touch it. I did not feel safe leaving it unattended.

Wouldn't connect to Wi-Fi

Tried for hours to get this to connect to Wi-Fi and it kept telling me "no device found". Would only connect with ethernet cable, which made it pretty much useless for me. Returning the product. I even contacted EZVIZ customer support with the issue and they didn't help and were rude.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great display for both day and night.
Cloud storage, although it costs extra, makes playback safe and easy.
I can watch the leaves blow in the trees, and hear the birds chirp in the back ground.
Mainly designed to interface with a cell phone. On you phone you can zoom in nice and close. Configuration screens on the phone are not as complete as on the PC interface. But the PC interface does not allow you to zoom in.
Most annoying feature to me, is the alert sound chirps every time i walk by the camara. I wish i could turn off the chirp, but leave on the alert.
