Did not do what it was advertised to do

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this water bottle due to the claims that it will help keep that funky “old water” smell out of the water bottles. It was ok for the first week of use but soon I noticed the smell even after washing and disinfecting the bottle. I tried using different soaps and using super hot water and ran the blue light function on it as well. However, the smell will come back after less than a day of use. I do use this as an every day bottle - and I am not sure if it’s due to the vacuum sealed nature of it but the smell is still there - similar to that of other water bottles. The only bottles I have which will clean completely are my glass bottles and ceramic bottles which are not ones that keep drinks hot/cold.
Not sure if mine is defective but I was very disappointed it did not do as advertised especially for the price point. Otherwise, the concept is cool and bottle looks cute but sucks that it doesn’t work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LOVE THIS BOTTLE. My water is always cold and the UV C light is such an amazing feature. I ordered the small size which works well for me since is easier to grip nor heavy to carry around.

I got this for my bf as a gift, and he loves it! It’s a great gift idea because generally people aren’t going to drop $$$ for their water bottle, but it’s worth the investment.
