Really bad experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would give it a zero if I could. The blades would get caught on the hair pretty easy, the blades were well lubricated, this happened on both short hair and long hair. It chipped the hair, the cuts hurt on every time, I would not recommend this to anyone. I have other haircutting kits and home that work much better.

Quarantine / COVID Essential!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like many people during this pandemic who are quarantining, working from home, or have local barber shops closed, my hair was out of control! With this product I have been able to trim my hair from caveman to reasonable and even trim my beard up nicely. I'd highly recommend this to anyone who needs a easy home haircut / trimmer solution.

Great cuts!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my ConairMan Barbershop Series Ultimate-Grip Home Haircutting Kit and could not be happier. Trimmer cuts like butter and does not clog. I am able to trim with precision around my neck and beard.

Not very good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't really like this ConairMan Barbershop Series Ultimate-Grip Home Haircutting Kit. It did not give me a good haircut. Maybe it's just not good for my hair type. I had high hopes for this kit because it comes with everything you need for a good haircut but that's not what I got.

Better than i expected!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this kit for free as a product tester and I'll begin by saying I come from a family of barbers and hair dressers (I am not one) the clippers and attachments blew me away with their quality at that msrp, I was fairly disappointed with the scissors however as they're the same pair that comes in all of the conair kits, and with this being a barbershop series I would have been willing to pay more for this kit as a consumer if there was a more professional pair of hair cutting shears

Nice enough clippers, room for improvement

It seemed to cut ok, but maybe expected more from a corded unit. speaking of which the cord is not nearly long enough to give a proper haircut away from the sink and outlet. Was cutting our three and six year old's hair and had to have them keep moving to keep the unit in a good position for cutting. Would like to see a longer cord, to help facilitate cutting away from a sink.
For a man doing a quick trim of a beard, the cord length may be ok, but not for a haircut.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hair cutting made easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the way these clippers feel in my hand and I really appreciated the easy to understand instructions on how to cut your own hair or allow someone else to cut your hair. The grip made it easy with no fear of slippage. I highly recommend using this product if you want to cut your own hair.
