Works with desktop macs too...

...after troubleshooting for desktop use simply (counter intuitively) plug the LAV mic 1/8" minijack into the headphone port (both TRRS) to get desktop audio - does not work with the mac 1/8" microphone jack for some odd reason. Unfortunately IK support and Apple while responsive were unable to advise this.
Additionally the tripod adapter screw was also missing in my package, sent @ N/C from IK to their credit in the end...
Portrait webcam mode will also require an adapter, and tripod is light weight requiring care in use.
I would recommend this to a friend!
