Great tent, great value

Used this tent recently for a multi-day field trial in AZ. Even at 28 degrees with freezing rain, we remained dry and comfortable. Plenty of room for myself, my dog and her crate, and our gear. Set up is easy with this tent particularly with the included ground cloth. As mentioned previously, there are a lot of stakes needed to set this tent up properly; however, in high winds it pays dividends because this baby barely moves. I would definitely buy again and highly recommend it to others.

great tent, absolutely better than my last unbranded one in terms of overall quality of the poles and material. My only gripe is the rain fly doesn't open up wide enough and i always end up scraping my back getting in/out just because they dont open tall enough. Otherwise i love the tent, its very easy to set up with the additional pad, and plenty of room for me and my stuff!
In the texas heat being able to open the top of the rainfly for some added ventilation is a bonus too. I would also recommend buying some more durable stakes as the included aluminum ones bend quite easily

It’s easy to set up and very durable material. I don’t have any complaints with it. It’s pretty good for what I need.

I purchased this tent for
on November 5, 2021

I purchased this tent for overnight travel in the forest as part of my job in the Forest Service. I probably used it 30 nights over the summer. Overall I like the tent very much. The two doors are convenient. I used one door as the enter/exit and the other as the "middle of the night pee hole" (just make sure the ground is sloped away from the tent. It is lightweight so it is very suitable for long hikes and has a taller ceiling than many tents I have had. The only complaints I have is that a 1 1/5 inch section of the stitching around the door was not completed so there was a hole big enough for insects to get in. I believe this was a manufacturing defect. The zippers get caught in the flap like material adjacent to the zippers often. Also, I think they got a little "cute" with the stuff sack/carrying bag (it really isn't either of those things) for it. You have to roll it up and tighten using two buckles and so it is never completely closed. So if you are hiking with it outside you pack in the rain, it is likely that the tent will have some amount of rain water in it when you take it out. Overall I am very happy with it however, and will continue to use it next year.

Good, simple, easy to use tent

The tent is too heavy and bulky for ultralight backpacking but makes a very nice car camping tent. The 2-person packs as large as my 4-person klymit maxfield which is a much better backpacking tent for the family.
The cross country is easy to setup, solid in wind and rain, and has a lot of organization inside along with a decent amount of external storage for a small tent. It's a hot tent in the summer if you need to keep ths rainfly down.
It's one of the few small tents that has 2 doors and on the large side of the tent so it's very easy entry and exit or for the kids to run through. It's a great value, IMO.

This tent saw a lot of camping in the backcountry of Utah and Montana. Didn’t puncture once and stayed very waterproof. Light and easy to put up.
