I have the 3 person Cross Canyon tent. This tent was selected for it's pack size and weight. The packed tent fits into a saddle bag.
About the tent... this 3 person tent is a nice size for two people. This tent is easy to set up. There are two aluminum poles that are pre-bent and the mesh of the tent has clips that attach to the poles. This tent is not exactly dome shaped, they call it igloo shaped it has more vertical walls that help increase the interior space of the tent, A full rain fly covers the tent to provide protection from wind and rain. With the fly installed two vestibules provide ample extra covered storage. These are important features to consider. The fly has two operable vents for ventilation. There are two doors with zippers that glide easily opening and closing.
Inside the tent it is a full mesh that extends from the tub. There is a gear pocket on each of the side walls, they are a slash shape on the mesh above the tub. Over head is a gear loft with 3 pockets, there is plenty of storage for items you want to keep track or ready access. The tent door can also be stashed out of the way in the overhead pocket. This tent is more square in shape, if you are of average height it is possible to sleep laying in either direction, that is head toward either door or wall.
I have added the foot print for this tent as well. The fast fly configuration creates another option for use. The fast fly allows setting up a sun shade with out having to set up the complete tent. For those who want a light option the fast fly could also function as a shelter while backpacking. The foot print is a great addition and it includes easily into the roll up.
Now packing up, this tent takes down quickly and easily. It is not necessary to be an origami master to get the gear ready, it is nearly throw and go. The roll up pack stuff sack, which multitasks as a door mat for a vestibule makes packing up a cinch. Nothing worse than trying to pack up your gear to get moving when there is a strong breeze blowing your fabric all over, great for kite flying, not moving out.
The Cross Canyon is a great tent. Gets it done, it is not frustrating, it performs... this means enjoyment, fun, and good experiences... "Out to the road, out 'neath the stars...Those are the memories that made me a wealthy soul" (Bob Seger - Travelin Man)

Well Done

We used to bring a "eazy-up" coleman tent and the ventilation in that was so poor I would wake up at night barely able to breathe. We invested in this tent and have not been disappointed. It's easy to set up, incredibly breathable and with the klymit sleep pad and KSW down two person bag has been the perfect set up. Our large dog moon bed from klymit fits perfectly along side us as well.

Great tent

This tent was great.. I have been sleeping in a large 8man tent and I was a little nervous about the room and if I would sleep comfortably. The cross canyon 3 was very simple to set up. Being in the Utah desert outside of Zions it can get pretty breezy at tight but the tie down stake rain fly really broke the wind. It was very lightweight and fit in my klymit backpack perfectly. I recently bought a bunch of KLYMIT gear and so far I am 100% satisfied but don't forget to pack extra stakes...

Not too shabby

Out of the box I lugged this thing up a mountain for a night in the wilderness without attempting to set it up beforehand, by the time I got to the campsite it was pitch black and 20mph winds. I figured it was gonna be a chore to get the tent set up but I was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was even with the wind! I got this tent up in about 15 minutes and I’m pretty sure if there was no wind it would’ve taken 5. The pole system is great and basically puts itself together, also the dual entry is a good feature! Overall I’m impressed with the quality and ease of assembly.

I’m always skeptical of Klymit, but we’ve used this Klymit 4-P Copper Canyon tent ~15 nights & have yet to be disappointed. Lots of room & storage (unless you want to use cots). SUPER easy to setup in <5 mins & packs-up quick & easy. I really like how easy it is to just roll-up everything into the strapped stuff sack, although I’m not entirely sold on it’s functionality as a mat since the pockets/straps have to lay in the dirt. Wish the vestibules were a little larger, but can’t complain too much since they kept shoes/boots relatively dry.

This was my purchase for float trips where weight matters. It is easy to set up and take down. I have used it several times along with other Klymit products and I haven't had to replace anything yet.

It does its job

Its generally hard to find tents I fit in since I'm so tall, but this one is plenty long and roomy. Set-up is very easy as well. I really only have 2 complaints: First is that its not the easiest tent to get in and out of. Second is that I strongly recommend waterproofing this tent before using it. While it keeps rain out for a bit, it eventually starts getting through and you'll wake in a puddle like I did!
