I had an Oklahoma Joe offset for 20 years and wanted to try the Drum Smoker. I am glad I did, and so is my son who I gave the offset smoker which is still working great.

A world class replacement to my electric smoker.

When my electric smokes decided it was done I started looking for a replacement. The Bronco Pro has been amazing. So far pork loin, ribs, chicken, salmon and brisket have all turned out amazing. Even tri-tip is elevated to a whole new level on this smoker. I actually started to have a whole new appreciation for chicken when it's smoked and the space saved over a traditional offset smoker makes this easy to fit right next to my grill. I can't wait to try out smoking a turkey next month for the family!

I do enjoy my Bronco smoker. The only issue is the lack of access to add more coals/wood for smoking. Heats well but for long smoke brisket/pork I run out of heat. Wish it had a door

I just bought this smoker and it's the easiest smoker I have ever used was able to smoke my ribs..6 full racks ..13 hrs falling off the bone. Great design.. Love it

Unboxing to First Cook

After watching several videos and reading multiple reviews, I took the plunge and purchased a pro (black). It arrived slightly bent and the screws didn’t quite fit properly. As a matter of fact, as I was tightening one of the factory screws, it snapped right off. So, I made some structural adjustments and also purchased/used stainless steel bolts/screws (1/4”x20x5/6 screws). Finally got the thing put together after a few trips to the hardware store. Assembly itself was simplistic, other than the issues listed above, which was nice. During the burn-in, I noticed the charcoals burn hot and fast, which isn’t a bad thing at all. Does exactly what it’s suppose to do. Afterwards, I reloaded the charcoal and wood chunks (mesquite), adjusted both intakes to 1-2 and put on some St. Louis Style Ribs. Temperature has been steady at 225 for about and hour…just the way I like it with smoke streaming out. I’m 1-hour into my rib cook and will let you know how it turns out. So far, so good! We’ll see!

Best smoker ever

Bought mine a couple years ago. It’s the best smoker I’ve ever owned wish I had 10 of them. Used it to cook brisket on in a competition and placed with it!!
