I’m very unhappy with this brand

I bought this blender less than a year ago. It worked very good while it lasted. One day just stopped working. That was very sad. Maybe it was bad luck for me. Oh! And I have the artisan mixer too, wish it broke twice already. I promise myself to never buy this brand again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just like other 1 star reviews, you have to keep shaking blender for it to finish as well as putting fluid and stopping blender to scope contents to get blender to actually blend. Smh. Ridiculous...literally received in mail 12 days ago. After second blend it's been crap ever since. Going to request refund and invest in another blender. Its also loud as heck.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the Ice crushing feature!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used it almost daily since buying it. I made mango margaritas with the crushed ice for Father’s Day. They were loved by all. I made fresh peach popsicles, virgin pina coladas, and Trifle for our July 4th celebration. The whipping cream needed for the trifle came out picture perfect in minutes. I also love the ease of cleaning the blender. My husband keeps telling me to stop raving about the blender so often, but he loves the exciting new foods and drinks he enjoys because of it!

Upgrade from older KA blender

jar and the rubber seal and blade apparatus had to be replaced every few years, but this
blender seems powerful for a plastic jar, with fewer moving parts and it's very heavy duty crushing ice to make my smoothies which is my primary use.
Since I saw how well it does that I may expand my uses.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I took several weeks checking out all brands before making my decision. Best decision! I love love love this blender and I love that it’s made by KitchenAid. It makes the best fruit smoothies you can possibly make. Good for all your blending needs. You can’t beat it! And it’s backed by the dependable KitchenAid name.
