5 stars for back sleeping, 3 stars for side sleeping. It can be used for both, but side sleeping is a little tricky.
I wanted a lightweight inflatable pillow that weighed about 2 oz to use for both hammock camping and ground camping.
After reading a number of reviews, I found that most camping pillows offered today use down instead of air, and are heavier and more expensive. I was happy to find the Klymit X.
I had originally debated between this pillow and the larger Klymit pillow. I'm glad I went with this one, which is bigger than you think.
Recommended.

Super compact!

I love how small it is. It is literally smaller than a soda can. I haven’t used it to sleep yet, but it doesn’t seem all that comfortable.
EDIT:
After a few camping trips, I have used this pillow many nights.
Pros:

Pretty comfy
Cons:
The fabric feels weird on your face if you’re sleeping on your side

I love this pillow. It actually is pretty comfy if you deflate it a little bit and it is just an overall great little camping pillow.

Surprisingly Comfortable and Very Compact

These take up little to no room in your backpack, and after a long day of packing gear up a mountain and setting up camp, this seemingly small luxury makes a huge difference as you try to get decent rest for another day of adventure.

This is such a great little pillow for any type of travel! Super light, super small and so easy to inflate to your comfort level. I'm a smaller person (5'3") so it was a little tight in my mummy style sleeping bag (Klymit Wild Aspen), but other than that I am totally happy with this purchase!

The pillow was too uncomfortable for a side sleeper. It’s okay if you’re just on your back, but if you move around while you sleep, skip this pillow.

Deflates quickly on use

I’ve given this pillow a shot on numerous occasions and this last weekend camping was the last one. This pillow deflated within 10-20 minutes of use. I checked for holes, leaks, etc. no evidence of that. It just deflates quickly- which is definitely no good when waking up multiple times in the night to blow more air into. Do not recommend.
