Valve could be better

The valve for blowing up could be better. Its very frustrating. It is very light weight and compact. Good for backpacking.

Sleeping pad is comfortable and durable. I have used it three times now sleeping on the ground neither rocks or sticks pierced it. Oral inflation is quick and easy. Don’t waste your money on a pump. Extremely packable and takes up less room than most other sleep mats.

If you plan on cold weather, get the one that is insulated. For summer, this is perfect. Packs back easily, and takes minimal breath to fill. 8/10 is fair, but could score higher.

I struggle with sleeping pads

I struggle with sleeping pads always deflating but never had an issue with this one.I am 6’2” and 205 lbs and I always seem to end up sleeping on the floor. This one I never had that issue and it was a great buffer from the elements.

Performance well above its' price point

I'm a big guy, 6'4" and no ballerina. I kept buying the chain store brand air mattresses, and I'd be lucky to get 2 nights out of them before they sprung a leak and left me on the ground. A friend loaned me a Klymit Static V on a winter camping trip, and after that I've never looked back. The pad is quick to inflate, packs small, and is tough as nails. I toss and turn a lot in my sleep, and I never wake up off of the pad. The side rails do exactly what they say they do and keep you centered. I expected the outside material of the pad to be slick against my sleeping bag but in the morning, I hadn't slid much at all. The R value rating of the uninsulated pad does well for me down into the 20s when paired with a 0 degree Fahrenheit rated sleeping bag. Overall, I love these and am outfitting the whole family with them
