Love it! Light, Affordable, and Small!

When I bough it, I watched a bunch of reviews and saw that this pad fit my budget, packed real small, and was really light. I could spend 3x-4x as much to get something lighter, but I didn't know for sure then if I really wanted to get into camping.

I recently traversed the entire Alaska Range by foot and paraglider with the Static V. It's bigger and heavier than Klymit's Inertia line, but for a tiny bit more weight you've got dreamy comfort in a very advanced pad. Thumbs up for winter ski touring (can go the insulated for super cold trips) or whenever you need some cushion under those bones!

Awesome pad for light SUPER comfort

Short lived greatness

This pad was good for 2 trips then started deflating. I couldn't find the leak no matter how hard I tried. It now resides in a trash can in the Adirondacks somewhere.

Just came back from a 2 night backpacking trip and was excited to use my Static V Recons for the first time. They were easy to pack and inflate which is the only plus. Me and my partner slept on the ground both nights because these would not hold air...even after blowing them back up through the night. Max inflated time we got was maybe 2 hrs. Extremely disappointed as i have other Klymit products the I love.

Great Sleep Pad

This is an excellent sleep pad. Almost anything is compared to issued sleep pads in the military. This pad makes it comfortable to sleep on the ground, rocks, sticks, and concrete. Side sleeping is even comfortable. Works perfectly in a hammock as well. I've recommended this sleep pad to everyone in my platoon and they all made the switch over.

A great pad

Comfortable and durable. Multi day pack trip and it was a comfortable rest every night. A little on the heavy side so if you are trying to shave ounces, might not be for you. My pack minus water started at 33 lbs.
