Great for light travel + bonus: comfortable

I've been camping a few times this year, mostly with my large tent and an air mattress. I wish I would have had the Static V pad sooner. It's just as comfortable, if not more so, then an inflatable mattress, takes less time and tools to inflate, and is super compact. The only thing I regret is not buying the insulated version. Note: I brought two dogs with me and even with them walking all over it in the tent, it managed to remain unscathed.

Love these mats and customer

Love these mats and customer service. I had one with a leaking valve and it was replaced with a new one under warranty. Great to see Klymit stands by their product and I will keep buying from them! Thank you!
As for the mats itself, very comfortable for the small pack size! I even use them for car camping.

Held up great in the AK mountains

Just spent a week in the mountains of Alaska chasing Dall sheep, this sleeping pad held up great in a floorless tent on gravel, tundra, branches, everything. No issues, no leaks, it just worked and took any punishment it was given. It's lightweight so it didn't make my pack heavier, and took up a small amount of space. At one point I used it as a glassing pad on the ridge and made a day of looking for rams much more comfortable. I would highly recommend it!

Bang for buck sleeping pad!

The Klymit Static V is a great budget sleeping pad. It’s comfortable, has an intuitive valve system and it packs up very compact.
This is my go to pad in warmer weather. I’m looking to do some colder weather camping so I’m eyeing up the insulated version.
This pad is great for an entry level or experience camper/backpacker.
