Overall its a great sleeping pad and easy to use. it is comfortable and very light weight, makes for easy packing. Being so lightweight and packable takes away from padding and comfortability. This is a very good product.

Excellent packability. Lightweight, and small, leaves a lot more room in my pack than previous pads. Takes a little longer to inflate and deflate. Comfortable and durable.

Great all-around sleeping pad feels very durable. Slides around while sleeping so that gets kinda annoying. This being said still an awesome sleeping pad.

Very Comfortable, Durable, and Afordable

I took this sleeping pad to Philmont and it survived and kept me comfortable. It was the only comfort item I allowed myself to cut down on weight. It was very much worth it!

Just right

I look everywhere to cut down weight from my backpack while going on trips into the backcountry, but I don’t like to sacrifice on comfort. The Static V isn’t the lightest but the small compact size and cushioned baffles beat my old foam pad any day without the high price of more expensive pads. It doesn’t take much effort to inflate and the valve is easy to lock and gives me peace of mind that I can sleep through the night without the pad deflating.

Best Backpacking Sleep

Ordered this wonderful piece of equipment when I got my free pillow. Slept in 19 degree weather while on a short backpacking trip. Went to sleep at 9pm and I don’t remember waking up until the next morning. I wake up at home with hip and back pain so when I say this is Pad is great, what I meant was it is AMAZING!! Buy it

Great asset for side sleepers in the field

I’m a chronic side sleeper, and prior to this pad, I always just had to sleep on one side until it got too sore, then roll over to repeat on the other side. And I hated having my sleeping pad sticking out of my ruck, rolling around while I was trying to get stuff out. This pad solves all of that. Blows up in exactly 15 breaths every time, and works great for a full nights sleep. The only reason I didn’t give it a full 5 stars/10 points, is because it takes a fair amount longer to get all the air out and get it flat to roll up effectively. I wish there was some kind of release plug at the bottom to help with this. Still the best pad ever though!

I’ve been using this pad

I’ve been using this pad for 3 years now, including 3 summer field seasons. I won’t be changing any time soon. I’m a side sleeper and this pad is great for it. Still super lightweight and durable and it easily packs up to shove in the compartment on my backpack with my sleeping bag. A lot less expensive than some of the other pads but this has just as a good quality
