90% of my camping trips

90% of my camping trips take place in the desert, which is not too comfortable if you sleep on your side like me. I'm a very minimalist camper so I was reluctant to get a sleeping pad, but oh my goodness this was a game changer. I can sleep on my side comfortably. It has so far stayed inflated for the duration of my trips, but I usually am only camping for a maximum of 4 days at a time, so I can't speak for longer trips. It's so easy to inflate...but the downside is that it takes me a lot longer to deflate it than inflate. Has increased my time for packing up my camp, but worth it.

Decent Pad!

Static V pads have become and industry staple, and for good reason. It’s hard to beat a pad that is lightweight and can pack down small for this price. It definitely is worth the money you pay for it. As far as comfort though, the best thing I can say about the Static V is that it’s tolerable. I can get through the night on it. As soon as I lay down my lower back starts screaming at me. My body can’t mold into the pad well enough to have my lower back supported. I solve this problem by tucking a Cush seat under my back, doing this immediately relieves my pain. This is not something I have experienced with pads built partly out of foam. Also, I find that my arms hang off the side of the pad, and I am not a widely built person.

Great sleeping pad/ bad for military field conditions

I took it camping on the civilian side, worked great. Supporter my body 215lbs, I was able to sleep on my side. But I took it to JRTC, I got about 4 punctures that I patch but it still leaks air.

This is a thin, lightweight, and very durable pad. It is amazing how close to the ground I seem to be, yet get the comfort and ability to sleep on my side. Love it!

Sleeping Pad is a winner

This thing rolls to the size of about a toilet paper roll and is super easy to inflate and deflate. Very comfortable and seems like it will last even on rough ground.

The valve is tricky. It flips to air up or down. The plastic camp would not stay and the valve leaked all night.

This thing is super compact and light. I always sleep on my side and this is very comfortable. I haven’t used it enough to speak on its durability but it seems to be made well.

Wonderful sleeping pad, no complaints other than sleeping better outdoors than I do indoors. Used this pad for a 2 week overland road trip. I was always so biased toward inflatable sleeping pads, but now I'm all about good rest and comfort! Appreciate the quick and speedy delivery. And the new valve is a wonderful addition! My buddy had the same one but a couple models older, he was constantly complaining about the valve. Mine however was flawless other than sounding like a goose everytime you inflate it waking everyone up if your getting to bed late...
