I have used this on multiple pack trips through the San Rafael Swell, Canyon Lands, and the Uintas. I sleep comfortably on my side (no hip pain), it packs small the the weight is minimal. I'd leave food home before I left this.

I've been packing this pad in for back country hunts for about 5 years now and it's still holding up great! It packs down very well and is quite comfortable. If you're doing anything later in the season I would recommend the insulated version.

Comfortable sleeping pad

I've used this pad for almost 10 years. It's comfortable to sleep on and it's easy to inflate/deflate, But, it can slide around under you at night especially if your sleeping bag material is nylon.

Works great. Extremely light, compact and comfortable. Prefer this to all but the largest self-inflating pads for comfort but this is perfect for a quick weekend getaway to the back country. For reference I’m 235lbs male and mainly a side sleeper.

I weigh more than I

I weigh more than I should and just spent a weekend sleeping on hard ground with my Kryptic Static V and I slept like a baby. It folds up to about 1/4 the size of my previous sleeping pad and is every bit as comfortable. I'm going to buy 2 more -- one for each member of my family and will backpack and camp in comfort!
