Best sleeping pad for backcountry travel

I have used this pad for 4 years without even a single leak or scratch in ALL ground cover styles. Rocks, dirt, sticks, and even wet ground without a problem. It comes with a repair kit too so if something ever happens i'm covered. It also packs down really small and is lightweight enough to take on backpacking trips yet still feels like you are sleeping like a princess. The design allows for stomach, side, or back sleepers to lay comfortably. It contours your body perfectly. I also got mine in khaki (when they were just starting out) so it blends in nicely with the natural world if you aren't looking to be a highlighter in the wild.

Super comfy, took a little while longer to inflate than I would have hoped but a huge upgrade from the foam sleeping pads we were using. Can't comment on durability yet but it seems solidly built.

Good design and Comfortable

This pad is comfortable, even as a side sleeper. The welds holding the two sides together started failing on another similar (different brand) pad I had after about two years, but the Klymit has much wider radius' so it looks like that shouldn't be a problem on the Static V. It is easy to inflate, but a little harder to deflate than others I have used, but not enough to be problematic.

This pad absolutely changed my life when sleeping on hard ground. Went from getting a few hours of interrupted sleep to a full 6-8 hours while I was out there. Highly Recommend for anyone just getting into backpacking.

Packable comfort

I bought three of these for a 4 day hunting trip I took with two of my sons camping in the ND Badland for bow season opener. These are really nice. They pack small, inflate quickly, and made sleeping on the ground for three nights very comfortable. I have nothing bad to say about these at all.

Great pad, I found that it lost some air during the night however, it could have been me not properly securing the valve. I would definitely recommend.
