Going strong since 2015

Took a chance on this camping mat about 5 years ago before I knew Klymit's brand, loved the idea and was impressed with how small it could go. Today, I could not be happier, with both its size, comfort and quality. To this day my original mat is still working perfect ( 5 years later) got my partner her own about two years later, and bought a winter one this year. My recommendations; if you run warm, this mat is an excellent 3 season mat. ( get an insulated one for winter) If you run cold, use the insulated for winter and the shoulder seasons and the lightweight for summer.
Value wise nothing else comes close

Amazing lightweight and packable mat

I have had my static V Pad for over 4 years now and have never had any issues with it. It packs up super small, weighs next to nothing, and is one of the comfiest pads I've slept on. As a side sleeper, it is exactly what I have been looking forward to. I also have the insulated static v for those colder nights!

Compact and restful sleep

This sleeping pad is perfect on a cot or directly on the ground. Have opened one for about 4 years and still have not punctured it or had a seal stop doing it’s job. It is well made!

Very comfortable, inflates in just a few breaths, and packs extremely small. Does not want to slide around on a cot as much as other pads I have used in the past which is a big plus.

This sleeping mat packs down

This sleeping mat packs down remarkably well. Over the years, I had gotten used to sleeping mats being a bulky roll strapped to the side of my backpack, but the static V changed that for me. I also like that the design kind of perks up at the edges because it helps it stay centred when used in a hammock. My only gripe is that the air valve is just pull/push to open and close, which has caused a few unintended deflation’s in the middle of the night. A secondary improvement over a porous foam mat is that it doesn’t absorb water, which is important here on Vancouver island! Overall I’ve been really happy with my static V.

Quality and warranty

I used one of these ground pads for a few months and the fabric started adhering to itself. Warranty department said that was a result of wear and tear and beyond the lifetime of the product and would not replace the item. "Lifetime Warranty" is anyone's guess. I bought a new one with a discount they offered me instead of replacing and it was leaking air from the valve upon arrival. I wrote them again and no reply after a week. So disappointed by the quality and the false warranty

Static V hits the mark

I have a Static V Lux pad that's too small for me and wife to use together so when we saw the great deal on this Static V we added his/hers to our gear stash. Will use in 2person tent as well as for hammock camping. Love our Klymit pads and can't wait to break these in after Christmas.
