Klymit Static V - Bikepack - Finger Lakes National Forest (Hector, NY)

The static V make it into my load-out for a 24 hour bikepacking effort. The temperature was hovering just above freezing and my sleeping kit was on the side of ultra minimal. The Static V kept me off the cold and wet ground just enough to make my sleep restful and enjoyable.

This pad is as comfy

This pad is as comfy as it gets for a lightweight, compact air pad. I've used them for years and they are extremely durable as well. I bought a new one because it has a different valve system than my older model does, and I like it a lot more. It's easier to pack up and I feel like it releases air easier when rolling it up.

I didn't think it was possible to find a lightweight and thin pad that would work for my hips when side sleeping. Wake up with zero pain.

Anyone who has spent time outside sleeping can tell you that a good sleeping pad is crucial, but many that I have used in the past take up too much space in my pack. This one combines affordability with the ability to be packed down to the size of a typical bottle of water. All while not sacrificing on comfort. This is a very good option in temperate climates.

I recently used this sleeping pad on a 6 day hunting trip and I didn't have to refill it once. It's nice and comfortable and fits on my cot well. It's small and compact which is nice because it barely takes up any room in my pack. Additionally it provides extra insulation between my sleeping bag and cot. After using it for nearly a week my only wish is that it had some anti-slip coating on the bottom to keep it more snug to my cot because it slides around under you if you move around on your cot when getting ready to go to sleep. Other than that it's great, lightweight, and comfortable.
