I used the Static V

I used the Static V on my last trip and I was surprised by the durability while folding it in half and sitting on it around the fire. Tuff and comfortable for some RnR around the campsite.

Bombproof Pad

I’ve been using this pad for no joke 6 years. Not extremely heavily the whole time, but I’ve had it for 6 years and put it through more than enough abuse. It’s a great size, packs down really small, smaller than a Nalgene, and isn’t too heavy. Super comfy, still holds air pretty well. It’s a little bit loud and crinkly, but I’ll credit that to its age. Amazing pad, it’s great.

I borrowed a static v

I borrowed a static v on a backpack trip a few years back. I had an uninsulated pad before and could never get a good night's sleep. With the static v, I was warm, comfortable, and well rested. After the trip. I immediately ordered one of my own!

Floating on air

I have used a foam pad and a thin inflatable pad, but have found those to offer little cushioning. Finally, I found a lightweight, easy-to-roll-up air-filled pad that will make sleeping more comfortable, whether in a tent or lean-to shelter.

First use.

Just got back from a 2 night packing trip in the smoky mountains. I was excited to use my new static v but the excitement waned when I blew it up and saw how thin it really was. So I had to blow it up more until it was really hard and uncomfortable just so I didn’t feel the ground. Then the next day I found it very hard to deflate the mat and to get it back into the sack. I will probably use it again but I should have suspected that the price I paid for it there would be some problems.

Wherever you lay you’re comfy
on May 13, 2021

So I got this to actually help me move, I’d be spending 2 nights in my new house before my home goods reached it. But OH MY GOODNESS. I blew it up to test it out and I laid there for hours! No matter if you’re a side or back or stomach sleeper you’ll be comfy, fold it in half to sit against a wall and it’s comfy even! I’m a bony person, I’ve got pressure points when I lay and no matter how I was situated I was comfortable! The ONLY thing... don’t get caught up trying to cap the valve when it’s inflated, doesn’t work.

This pad did not hold air from night #1 on a 5-day raft trip. Super disappointing!

Loved the first one so much that we got 2 more. Now to get them for all of our backpacks.
