Best Mat I Have Used

I have spent more than my fair share of time sleeping in the dirt. I have used a few different pads ranging from quality "self"-inflating to the super cheap foam, and This Static V pad is the best. It is really compact and lightweight. Blowing it up and deflating it is incredibly easy. I slept better on this mat than I do in my bed. Fantastic product.

Great sleeping pad

I've used this sleeping pad for a few years now (50+ times)after it was recommended to me by a wildland firefighter. It's great for me, a side sleeper. It doesn't seem to deflate much and seems really sturdy (my kids and dog can be rough on things). It's light and small for backpacking. I love it!

Excellent lightweight sleep system

I used this product for 2 weeks in very brutal terrain in Unit 70, CO. while elk hunting in the upper elevations. It never leaked and was able to handle the abuse.

This thing is awesome if you need it to take up as little space as possible and it adds barely any weight. Yet it was still supportive to sleep on and didn't take long to inflacte.

Light and easy to use.

Light and easy to use. My wife and I bought 2 of these 4-5 years ago based on the recommendation of a friend and have not been disappointed. This was my first backpacking sleeping pad and remains my go-to. It blows up very quickly, it's comfortable, and it's light/small enough that I don't think twice about packing it. The only reason I'd consider other options is because I'm not quite as warm on it as I thought I'd be. I am fairly skinny and do notice that I wake up during the night with a cold back in my 30 degree mummy sleeping bag when it gets below 50 degrees F outside. This seems to be the case in several types of tents and even with a couple layers on. Easily could just be my body and I wouldn't dream of blaming my favorite sleeping mat. Nevertheless, for backpacking, I would rather go with a better sleeping pad than sleeping bag for pack weight and size reasons. I have not tried other Klymit mats at this time but would absolutely give another Klymit product a try.

The product is really good but it's not the best out there. It packs pretty well but it can be annoying getting all of the air out of the pad and I'm not sure the weight vs durability is good. The price is good though.

These are excellent and very comfortable. The V keeps us firmly on the pad an keeps you from slipping if camping on slight angle.
