Quality, comfort and relatively light weight

I have used this pad on 4 or 5 camping trips, it is very comfortable, easy to inflate with approximately 15 breaths and deflates with ease due to the flip valve. I use this with my Big Agnes bag and it fits snug, keeps the pad in place and warm. Highly recommend this bag.

This pad is comfortable on all types of surfaces; from solid wood, dirt, gravel, even used it in a hammock a few times. This pad is an excellent product for the price, just not enough padding for my wife though(she enjoys glamping not camping though).

Good mats

These pack down pretty small. Might not be the lightest mat you can buy but good enough for backpacking. I do wish the bags that these mats come in were a little more forgiving in the sense that if you don’t roll them up exactly correct they don’t go back into the bag fully.

A simple solution to the cold hard ground.

I’ve used two versions of the Klymit Static V. Both were great in terms of R value and comfort. The reason I offer a 3 star review is that I have a love hate relationship with the product. When it works it is great. But if you develop a small pin hole on the trail…you won’t find it until the dead of night. And even in daylight I dunked mine in a pool trying to locate the leak. Found it. Patched it. Still using it. When it works it awesome.

Already had the insulated version of this mat and i love it! I buy this version for warmer temperature and to save some weight/volume during summer camping trips
