I used this blanket while car camping and hanging by a fire. Its the right weight and size to keep you warm but not hot. I will use on more car camping trips and report back if my opinion changes.

Recently got the Versa Blanket for a bike packing trip and since I've unpacked it, my wife has claimed it. Gone. I'll need to order another.. The short time I tried it out on the couch was wonderful. I can see this will be a great addition to my sleeping gear. I'm an on-top-of-sleeping bag-sleeper so this will work great with the footbox and corner hand pockets.

I LOVE this blanket! I have used it camping instead of my twice-as-heavy summer sleeping bag and it worked great. The foot pocket is a game changer in terms of keeping the blanket around me and added warmth for almost no additional space/weight.

Perfect for people who get overheated in normal sleeping bags

I find sleeping bags way to hot. This is so much more air-y and so breathable. It is also a perfect size when compact, being quite a bit smaller then normal sleeping bags. When open, it is large enough to go on-top of two people, or rap around one person if you also want it below you. I am yet to use it in action, but I have I expectations.
