I liked my first one better. It broken right after warranty though and biolite would not replace it.

Very light and comfortable way to be handsfree lit at night only problem is I wish for a second button, one for on off, one for switching light modes.. I feel im erratically clicking sometimes to get the light I want. between red whit and strobe/on and off

One of the first headlamps I've used with a dimmable red light! It's also incredibly comfortable. After having it on for about 5 minutes I forgot I was wearing it. Wow!

Lightweight and bright

I’ve used the Headlamp 200 for early morning dog walks for the past several days. Comfortable headband that’s easily adjustable. Compared to the Headlamp 330, that I also use for camping, the incorporation of the rechargeable battery into the light unit saves some weight and gives the 200 a slimmer profile. Price is comparable to other rechargeable headlamps. Altogether a great headlamp with a long battery life. Recommended!

I recently received my Biolite Headlamp 200. I have had the Headlamp 330 for several years and enjoy using it. The main advantage of the 200 is that it is more comfortable, smaller and lighter since it does not have the battery pack at the back of the head strap. The light output is smaller, but still more than adequate for most uses.

Better Headlamp, Better Price

I was intrigued when I initially saw that biolight decided to make a new headlamp. I originally bought the Headlamp 300 and was very satisfied. The Headlamp 200 provides a handful of differences that makes it worth considering. First, there are no external wires or battery packs wrapping around the headband; all the working parts are contained in the front. This is convenient for operation and maintenance. I also love the red color that is being offered. It's a couple bucks cheaper for those who aren't looking to spend a ton of money. I do notice the weight difference, so I would probably only use it in circumstances where I'll be around the campsite versus night hiking. Overall, I'm very satisfied and look forward to see what Biolite has to offer next.
