great tv, but cannot locate a replacement soundbar

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was an excellent choice for a television. The screen is the thinnest but has the most beautiful picture. The features are also excellent. We had a problem with the magic remote connecting to our other devices when it should have been universal. But we are still working on it because they have sent us a replacement remote at no charge. Which great customer service from LG.

Fits flat on the wall and the ribbon design is awesome - no cords to hide. The pixel engineering provides the best picture we've ever seen. There is such a depth to the colors that makes watching TV amazing.

Uniquely designed TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, this is one of a kind TV, it's beautiful, it's 4K OLED and the picture quality is outstanding. It looks amazing on the wall and it is pretty easy to install. I like its Web OS, very intuitive interface and has everything you need to watch your content. A few things I wish LG would include: an extension cable for the soundbar, the one provided is pretty short. The soundboard needs a subwoofer and more punch to the sound, I think being a premium TV like this one, this should have been a priority. All in all, love this set!

Beautiful, but died within the first few minutes

Bought this beautiful TV and put in a lot of effort to make it fit where it was supposed to go (mounted a large wall support plate to distribute the load as the studs were in the wrong places, modified my built-in cabinets to accommodate the screen and the soundbar that is big and heavy and needs to be mounted relatively close, below the screen) only to find out that after switching on the unit for the first time, I only got a few steps into the installation menu when the screen suddenly went black. After that, I could switch it on but it would switch off within seconds. Sad. Had to send it back to the retailer.

Installation is Pretty Difficult

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Real world experience is that custom woodworking and electrician skills are essential for installation. This TV is not for a novice who believes that you plug it in and turn it on. In fact the electrical requires wiring an in wall and recessed power source as the thinness is such that no room exists behing this TV. Next the very thick wire connecting the TV to the sound bar (which is also where the TV electronics are located) must be managed and this is a substantial challenge. I ultimately hired a custom woodworker to construct a bespoke surround to hide the power wiring. Be prepared to spend an additional sum with this TV. And yes the picture is good as is the sound but the installation was arduous.
Pros: Performance
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
