First time HP purchase after years of loyalty to a different brand. 1. Laptop freezes often, have to restart several times 2. unable to install office 3. windows (c:) space shows full after just transferring just a few files from previous computer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchase this laptop over a month ago and display is very nice. The laptop is very light but very well built.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extrremely nice laptop, I'm disappointed they moved the power button to the side (it's on the top on some of their models) which means you spend a certain amount of time turning the laptop to see if you've actually hit the power button -- not much good that it lights up but isn't easy to see). Don't think the privacy screen is as good as I expected and wish the screen wasn't all that glossy.
Now onto the good points, the keyboard is a pleasure to type on - unlike Dell's mag keys (Dell please!) this is really a pleasure to type on. Keys had the right travel and right positioning.
Screen is good to great, I'm coming from a 15.6" OLED screen and this is definitely not that, however it is more than functional, definitely sips power and is more than bright enough.
HP seems to be one of the few mainstream manufacutrers to include LTE in their laptops as an option, personally I think it should be mandatory. No insecure WiFi, you open the laptop and you're on line and it's easier to configure than a phone. I just popped my SIM in and it ran a firmware update automatically and I was on LTE. Now when I drop at the corner cafe or my customer's office I just open my laptop and am online instantly. Wham Bam Thank You !
Very light, looks smaller folded than when you open it. Tents well though the viewing angle is definitely optimal at a certain angle which forces me to adjust the tenting to get optimal brightness.
Overall happy with purchase but pricier than the competition for the feature set.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Powerful, good looking laptop. It is as light as advertised and smaller than my HP 13" Envy. The Wacom AES 2.0 touch pen works great. The HP USB-C G5 dock started right up, plug and play, with my accessory keyboard, mouse, and HDMI monitor. Seems like a winner!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My office, and myself, are very impressed with the quality and function of the Dragonfly notebook. We had previously been an all Dell shop, but I decided to try out this model with their thunderbolt dock for their office. They are beautiful, lightweight, pleasant to use, and have plenty of power.
