Great for school, offline gaming

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall a quality laptop. Speakers are a bit too quiet for my taste, but that's coming from a hearing impaired hard rock fan. I do wish the battery life was a tad longer- without battery saver on, I only get about 4-5 hours of life on it, and the screen with the battery saver on is far too dim to actually be productive. However, as someone who uses this primarily for school and a little bit of light, offline gaming, this computer works fabulously. I do miss the old pen dashboard that the 2018-era Windows had, where you can doodle directly onto webpages and save them as PDFs. Would help a lot for lectures. Despite these issues, this is overall a really good budget option for students.

Don't leave it plugged in

This laptop works great for what I need it to do as a college student. However, when I leave the computer plugged in to charge overnight it will overheat. I'm honestly worried the battery is going to blow up one of these days.

Less than impressed with quality and support

I bought this in May of 2021 and by July of 2021 the rubber boots on the bottom of the case had fallen off. Over the course of the next 3-4 months, one by one the large screws unscrewed themselves and left me with 6 of 9 and only two being the ones which secure the hinges which are now pulling away from the chassis and to top it off I have a usb interface that reports failure starting and is my webcam. I have attempted to resolve this through Lenovo on three occasions in which they deleted my request for service without reason. I pay for my warranty which also has an accidental damage clause. Either way, this is not what I expect from Lenovo.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Defective out of Box

I bought this in June and didn’t really use it until August when school started. It worked fine at first but now all it does is Blue Screen when I need it the most. It keeps saying “driver_power_state_failure” but when I look up the error code online none of the advice helps. Now, the laptop wont even boot, and if it does the fans turn on to 100% and the keyboard and mouse don’t activate. When it does work, it works wonderfully, but when you rely on a laptop to do everything, it kind of messes you up when it doesn’t work. Would not recommend.

Good computer for home but not for graphics

I bought this about a year ago and was excited because I thought I would finally have a computer that had enough ram for what I do 3d programs. I have 16gb ram. I cannot upgrade that, but I can upgrade the SSD. Hoping that works. My older laptops with 4gb of ram ran better than this
