Disappointing

I had to get a shorter (ADA compliant) dishwasher for it to fit under my countertop. I am really disappointed in this dishwasher. I realized that it would be smaller, but I never thought two inches in height could make such a difference. On page 7 of the manual, there’s a suggested loading diagram. Nowhere does it show pots and pans, and indeed I don’t seem to be able to fit any in when I have a normal amount of plates and bowls. I guess I’ll have to start washing pots and pans by hand. Furthermore, the top tines are very short, so glasses, cups, and smaller bowls fall down until the basket is fully loaded and they hold one another up. And two things are required that weren’t with my old GE dishwasher: I discovered a rinse aid is needed for the dishes to dry (my first few loads were dripping), and hot water needs to be run before starting the dishwasher. Makes me feel bad that I had to spend $250 more for this inadequate dishwasher than a normal-height one, but I had little choice once I discovered I needed to get an ADA compliant one for it to fit.

Jury’s still out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Due to the height of my countertop and supply chain issues, I was limited to a few dishwashers that would fit in the space I have. This dishwasher fit the bill. I like the look, the inside and the functions but don’t like that I have to hit cancel every time I close the machine. I haven’t figured out a way to resolve this. Am I missing something in the owners manuel?

The Start/Cancel button should be pressed to start a cycle or resume one that has been interrupted. If you want to cancel a cycle in progress, you can hold down on it for three seconds. Not a fan of layout

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher came with the house we purchased. It was like new (probably due to the older homeowner not using much) and so we decided to use it for our family as it didn't seem necessary to replace a practically new dishwasher. I feel like I am fighting with the racks more than not. If I don't put plates in just so, they still come out with stuck on food - it's almost like the tines are too close together in the plate area. The top rack doesn't give much option for glasses. The center placement of the basket is awful as it's always in the way when trying to put in bigger items like bowls. I also do not like that in order to do the heavy load option, I have to have the heated dry on (I choose not to use this as I have kids who give no cares where they put plastic and I don't want it melted). I would never pay full price for this unit, there are superior dishwashers on the market for the same or less. All that said, if you seem to have the magic touch with loading it, it does seem to do a decent job of washing the dishes.

Dishes come out clean but space is small and racks are poor

The design of the two racks is very difficult to work with. Space is limited, height is low, racks have spaces where pieces can fall through, just overall poor design.

After 2 months it makes loud noise and vibrate so much that it detached from the cabinet and had to be set again but it still makes loud noise especially when pumping out water. The repair man said nothing is wrong, It didn't do that before.

Pretty Happy Thus Far
