This grill is so amazing I actually bought 3 of them for different locations. Infared plate take longer to preheat than an open flame grill so you should expect a 15 minute preheat. Once hot you can achieve temperatures hotter than any grill I ever used. You can cook hamburgers and chicken without flaring up. I cook 20-ounce steaks really hot to get a good sear. 45 seconds, rotate 90 degrees, 45 seconds more then flip, 45 seconds, rotate 90 degrees, 45 seconds more then put on top rack for 2 minutes and enjoy the best seared most juicy medium rare to medium steak you ever had.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best Grill Ever

Bought this grill about 3 months ago and I have to say its the best grill I've ever cooked on. There is a bit of a learning curve when first starting out because this grill gets very hot! Once you learn the temperature range and the grates are seasoned its wonderful. No flare ups and even heating throughout the cooking surface. I love to grill bacon wrapped jalapenos and it was a lot of work trying not to get flair ups with other grills but this grill handles them like a champ. The TRU-Infrared really makes this the most forgiving grill on earth!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pros:-Assembly was relatively easy and well laid out.

Cons: - hooked up the tank and was getting a leak/hissing from the regulator. Disconnected and reconnected a few times and hissing finally stopped (my last bbq was a charbroil commercial for about 8 years so im not a novice to hooking up tanks)

- used the grill the first time to season the grill and cooked something lite. Second time, right off the bat I wasn’t getting spark, checked battery polarity and changed battery, still no spark. I lit the burners by match and as I was progressively igniting each burner, the last burner began to make a fluttering sound as I turned the knob.
Had a good run with my charbroil commercial but not a good start with this signature series. Was able to go online to order replacement parts without issues though.

Bought this grill a month ago and it's the best grill I've ever owned , meat is cooked through and through every time , cooks like a steak house

Several of the parts in the box arrived bent or damaged. It took a lot of work to straighten them, especially the cross piece with the magnets for the door and the back panels. That cross piece was mangled. It has a scratch in the hood that I see every time I grill.
Assembly wasn't hard but time consuming. It took me several hours but I was also had to straighten the damaged parts. Follow the directions step by step and don't lose a screw. They give you exactly the number needed to put it together
It grills fine, but I'd rather have my old trough style Charbroil infrared. Cooked better and easier to keep clean. I grilled on it for many years.

Once we got it all put together, we had to try it out right away. The led lights in the control knobs was great. It lighted right up and heated to temp quickly. Food cooked quickly and tasted great!

Used twice after seasoning the infared grates and cooked t bones and brats and it was such an even heat with no flare ups at all. Chicken another tkme was truly moist and juicy. No black char and grease rins off and Never gets a flame to ignite a fire.
