Makes is very easy to see, even working in the passenger seat of a car on a sunny day. The T490 is also fast compared with previous laptops I have used in the past. It boots up instantly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hope it will last 12 years like my last laptop! My only annoyance is that it keeps running my usb laptop cooling fan - even when I shut down the laptop. I'm sure there is something in the power options, but im old and curmudgeony. Lol.
Everything else is fast and fantastic.

The display brightness is not good, even when turned up fully. There is a yellow cast to the screen, probably to extend battery life. Compare screen brightness before you buy.
