[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a perfect laptop for on-the-go business professionals. Fast, sleek, powerful, portable. It has everything you need.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In trying to find the right laptop for my personal use, school, work, and online teaching, that fit my work and home docks, two Lenovo chat specialists helped me out. I have everything I need for under $1k - speed, compact size, performance, quick finger sign-on, etc.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] General speaking it's good except the right click always shown up. I found annoying and would like to disable it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality of this laptop seems to be really good. My only issue is that, so far, within the 2 weeks that I have been using the laptop, there has been 2 instances where I plug in the charger, but the charging icon does not show up and the system appears to be not charging. The issue got resolved both of the times by just restarting the system. I may have to check on it if it keeps on happening again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very disappointed in my purchase. I haven't had it a week and the screen flickers and goes black. The touch pad and pointer are super glitchy with actions performing even though I'm just moving the pointer and not clicking on anything. The start up time from sleep mode is a little long as well. I am also disappointed in the memory. My other Lenovo had a D drive as well that handled most of the stock programs leaving the C drive for my programs and storage. I hope I don't run out of storage as I had planned to use this computer to transfer my VHS home movies to digital...I had a very bad experience with external storage and really didn't want to go that route again. It is a little heavier and thicker than what I thought it would be but that is on me. So far battery life seems good but I have not used it much d/t the afore mentioned problems.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been an apple user my whole life. Also I am a programmer so a good computer is pretty important to me. I found Thinkpad T490 quite awesome and more than I expected. Awesome keyboard for coding and the fingersensor is a piece of heaven. You give a highly good impression. Also is really fast. The only think I dislike is the screen, is something with the bright that make me feel disapointed, specially when I stare at white colors. unfortunately I had to connect the laptop to an external monitor withe a better screen resolution :( . Hope my comment result helpfull to you. Have a nice day.
