[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this laptop a few days ago to replace my old t440 and I've really enjoyed it so far.
+ The screen (I sprung for the 1440p) is very nice, though pretty glossy. A matte option would have been nice.
+ The keyboard, touchpad, and touchpad buttons are a dream, even under Linux. Having the top discrete touchpad buttons is so much nicer than the under touchpad buttons on the 440, and having the middle mouse button as well is amazing. The keyboard feels good as well.
- Opening the laptop was very difficult. It uses phillips screws instead of torx, which is nice, but the clips around the laptop body were extremely stiff and I was worried about breaking the bottom plate several times. I was able to get it dis- and re-assembled without incident, however.
+ Easily upgradable: there's only one RAM slot and one NVME SSD slot inside, but both were easy enough to upgrade. I put a 32G ram stick and 1tb NVME SSD in for much cheaper than I could have gotten stock (~300 total).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the computer but every now and then the trackpoint and mouse buttons stop working. Trackpoint is one of the reason I bought a Lenovo. I have to reboot the Thinkpad to get it to work again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received my custom built T490 after buying online, and set it up with the docking station, wireless keyboard and larger monitor screen I also bought from Lenovo. They all are working great. The T490 has the face recognition and fingerprint ID features which are nice. I also added the four year warranty option just in case I need it for the T490 but they are very well built computers. I would buy again. Thanks Lenovo!
