Prior to this T490 I just purchased, I used a T460 for more than four years, and prior I used a T420. These are excellent machines with a very adequate SD and ample RAM.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems like a decent laptop, but too early to tell about durability. The build seems pretty solid, and it's fast. It doesn't come preloaded with a lot of bloat ware, which is a plus. For what it's used for, it's doing a good job so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new T490. It's everything I expect from a computer designed to help me get work done. I love the feel of the keyboard.
The design is starting to look a little bit dated, and I'm not sure anyone uses the signature joy-stick on these things anymore. But so far, it feels pretty close to my last Macbooks from work, and costs a lot less.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Lenovo T-series for decades. I recently switch from Yoga 900 back to T490 and I love it. As I used it for work-from-home, I like the number of built-in ports it offer (HDMI, Ethernet, etc). I even used the micro SD slot to expand the storage. The speed of the micro SD is fast. In addition, it has 1 memory slot which I added 16GB which bring it to 32GB total. It allows me to run several VMs at once (for lab).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new Laptop, I use it for school and at home on my home WiFi I get 500 mbps about for network connectivity. It also has the ability to wire directly into a LAN but that is only at about 100 mbps. The only feature I wish it had is a 10 key pad also. It is fast and has a long battery life. I can usually go all day without charging it.
