[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was replacing an aging E-series system that my 79 yr old mother uses. I really wanted a T-series based upon my experiences with my work laptop. The T490 did not disappoint. I love the ergonomics of the machine, keyboard layout and the feel of the keys. I chose 8G of memory with one slot open for expansion. One of key decision points was that the memory could be expanded. The M.2 drive is very fast. Boot up is 1/10th of the time of the E-series. Add in WiFi-6 and we're good for another 6-8 years. There's minimum bloatware and nags on start-up. Thanks Lenovo for a wonderful machine and buying direct experience.
