The T490 Lives Up To This Great Line Of Laptops

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been a 'T' user for a few generations now and the T490 lives up to this great line of laptops. It's a bit smaller than my old T470 with no sacrifice in usability, durability or screen size. Great laptop. Just wish Lenovo offered a few more configurations to get exactly the features I preferred but I found a powerful setup with the 4.8Ghz, 16 GB RAM that is quite peppy. Also, wish Lenovo would allow the backlit keyboard to remember the selection after a reboot so I don't have to change it every time....but that's a loooong story that you can find in the forums ;)

I absolutely love this laptop. I bought it for basic personal use including live music recording through a digital audio interface and it has not disappointed. It's both fast and lightweight. The mousepad is probably the best I've ever had in a laptop and I've been working for software companies for many years and have had many company laptops. The touch screen feature is a nice add-on although I haven't used it much.
