[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great portable laptop. I have been using it extensively for two months and am pleased with the performance. I use the laptop to construct PowerPoints for class and excel for logistical calculations. Battery life is expected and the laptop doesn't heat up while on your lap. I have paired it with a 24 in monitor to increase productivity.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a laptop for programming in college. I chose the intel version and found the build quality to be very nice. I would have liked a removable battery, but the internal one is replaceable worst case. Additionally, the laptop thermal throttles but I have a fan underneath to take care of that. Overall a great laptop with good Lenovo quality!

It has all the qualities of the previous generations (durability, great keyboard, great touchpad) plus it is very thin and light. The layout is very well thought out. Battery life is excellent, 10 or more hours even though I use it for fairly heavy computational tasks.
