This was an upgrade from an older Lenovo laptop. I love that this one still has an Ethernet connection available and I really like the shutter for the webcam. The battery is great and the laptop is lightweight. It came with Windows 10 and I added on Adobe Acrobat Pro. I am very happy with this purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my daughter attending graduate school. We reviewed the specs together online and picked the model and specs/options she wanted. The initial selection was more of a custom build. I received a call from one of the sales associates informing me that the custom builds would be shipping later than expected. I really needed this to arrive during my daughter's term break so the associate recommended more of a standard pre-built model with more memory at a small price increase. I agreed to it and the laptop arrived within 3 days! My daughter is completely happy with her new laptop, and I can't praise the customer service & sales associate enough!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just getting started setting up this new laptop. I have been eyeing Lenovo for years and finally did the right thing. The #1 attraction was a robust keyboard. Yes, I am finding it excellent! #2 was the non-metallic chassis. exactly as expected! #3 Good battery life. Well it is quite decent; but not excellent, and this is the reason for the docked star. #4 a decent screen for crisp text display. This screen IS decent but not excellent. Max-brightness is surprisingly...dark. But for spreadsheets and other text-dominated business work, I see no problem with this whatsoever.
This is my first computer with only a 15 watt processor. After comparing benchmarks to some higher wattage chips I already own, I decided to step down my wattage in exchange for a cooler-running system and more battery life.

I'm marveling at how business-oriented everything seems. All the settings are here, the on-by-default bitlocker, the fingerprint scanner which is perfectly integrated with Windows, the option to not charge while on AC for extended periods of time, and on and on and on. Like a kid in a candy shop, I'm still wading through settings, establishing an ideal configuration for my use case. Of course this wading is optional. You can just open it and use it to get your work done... but I am that way.
