Sturdy and high-end small laptop with great specs

9 months ago I bought the UX431FN-IH74 version of this laptop, without the numpad, and have been very happy with it so far. I wanted something extremely portable that I can use for photo editing and moderately-intensive gaming, and this fits the bill perfectly. The built-in SD card reader is a must for me, and the 1/2TB SSD has been very fast loading pages of large photo files. Speaking of ports, the two USB ports plus a USB-C port and SD card reader keep me from feeling constrained by the laptop's size: I can always connect whatever I want. While Apple and Surfaces are removing ports for slimness, this thing keeps them, plus a full HDMI port. I recommend bluetooth mice and and/or keyboard if you'd like to keep the ports open for other devices, but it's got enough ports to let you use ones you already have if they have dongles.
The feel of the laptop itself is surprisingly rigid and sturdy for something with such a small profile. It doesn't feel like it wants to bend, and that's probably helped by the fact that it's so light.
My only complaint is that the screen is not bright enough for outdoor work at mid-day, but that's an edge-use case for me.
If I didn't also have a monsterous 17" ASUS ROG laptop, I may have preferred a 15" Zenbook, but cramming a 14" screen into a laptop the size of my wife's 13" Macbook Air... awesome.

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this laptop for college and has been amazing. This laptop is light, portable, good battery life, and fast.
The only con that I came across was the screen stopped working within the first 2 weeks of buying the product. However, I was able to get it fixed and sent back to me within a week with no extra charge.

I bought this computer like a month ago and is not working like how is supposed to I’m just kinda mad I paid close to 600 and it wasn’t worth it
