We just recently purchased the night owl security cameras and so far we have loved them! We haven’t had any issues. I would highly recommend getting some and giving them a shot.

I purchased this system for a second home, primarily because I have the same system in my primary home. The Night Owl Connect Ap. Allows me to view both systems on my phone with a single log in, convenient!
I deducted a star because I do not want the active deterrence cameras with a bright light, but have not found a way to turn off the light.
If there is a way to deactivate the camera light, please let me know!

The spotlight can be disabled for one or more cameras if desired. This can be done at the DVR level or remotely via the App. This may come in handy for cameras that are installed inside the home, or during special events where you anticipate a lot of camera activity. Good afternoon. If you have a legacy product, then we can still troubleshoot with you to the best of our ability via chat. But live phone support is no longer an option. Our live phone agents are versed on our newer products, not products that we sold many years ago. You are outside of the warranty period and there is little a live phone agent could do. We will chat with you about the product and help you with the support content and updates we have for it, if applicable. We understand that can be frustrating, but due to the age of the product, that is the option that we currently have. Thank you.

I have a THD system that is great. I bought this for the increase in video quality wich is great. I can not transfer and watch video clips on my computer so far at all. Only being able to speed playback up 8 times sucks. It is not near as easy to understand the operation of this system. I really have considered sending it back; Please help me with the transfer and viewing of clips to my computer. I also cannot get the remote connect program to connect to my system.
