The size is great, the sound not so much.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought iLive's ULTRA PORTABLE FABRIC WIRELESS SPEAKER (mini) and adore the shape, size, and width. Round speakers definitely aren't as convenient, this I could slip nicely into a side pocket on my purse. The main function of a speaker of course is still sound, and this one just doesn't hit the mark. No accentuation between tones (regular bass, changes in the music, etc.) Just sounds really flat & dull, even compared to my phone. Not as loud as I expected either.
I wasn't looking for much, but I guess I'll just have to keep looking.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Surprisingly decent sound for its size, perfect for a chill vibe or on-the-go tunes. Just don't expect it to power your next house party. Compact, cute, and does the job for its pint-sized stature.
