Induction Master, slightly differs over LSE4617ST

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a quality Induction Range from a company I trust. Switching from smooth top electric to induction is amazing. Turning the knob to Turbo and watching the hot pot boil as quickly as turning the jets on in a hot tub was crazy! I'm confused why it's missing a few features from its brother the LSE4617ST like infrared broiling, since this one is essentially the same internals with different sheet metal and knobs. I do enjoy the different knobs though over that other model. Overall a good buy, a little pricy but kinda worth it! The speed roast cook setting cooked a 22lb turkey in 2 hrs instead of 4, which is crazy! The "Bake" function does still run the fans intermittently because of the element being at the back - which turns out to be a good thing, just different. I really enjoy not having to switch pans from top to bottom (still rotate 180 though) when cooking on multiple racks, this "True Convection" cooking is superior to other technologies that still have an element at the bottom- I get a great even cook on almost any rack (the manual prefers 3 and 5 I believe) I cook with 3 racks and have good results as well. I hope the fancy induction lasts over time, it feels like we are living in the future for sure!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s an awesome feeling to feel like you’re a good cook in front of your in-laws. This oven did that for me! I made baked chicken strips and for the first time ever, the chicken came out crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and evenly cooked throughout. I’m not typically a BAD cook per say, but this oven definitely made me look better. The induction cooktop is SO stinking cool too! I have 99% cast iron pans so it was an easy and no-brainer switch to make. I love how the little bit of food splatter doesn’t continue to cook onto the stove making cleanup difficult. Oh and the WiFi!! I never thought that was a necessary thing until now. I can be upstairs helping my daughters and get a notification that my oven ready. I can’t say enough good things about it. It’s super functional, easy to use, plus it looks rad.

I didn’t think anything could replace the Dacor six burner gas cooktop at our old house but I absolutely love the LG induction. It’s more precise than gas which shocked me. We moved from a natural gas neighborhood where we had dual fuel to an all electric neighborhood and I wanted the same performance as my last range. This range doesn’t disappoint. The slide out rack is a nice feature and the oven cooks fast and evenly. The range is very attractive. I did invest in new pans and can boil water in less than two minutes. Each burner has to have the same size pan. I noticed when I used a smaller pan on a larger burner it would shut off.

The funny thing is everything I’ve cooked so far has tasted better-even pasta! Not sure why, but it does! I love that the stove doesn’t really get hot (induction). I’ve put paper towel on stove while cooking, unbelievable! Was a little concerned with using timer, but I’ve gotten the hang of. The only thing I didn’t like, the words on the control panel are very very hard to see! You have to put your face up to it and look from different angles.

Six visits from the repair Man so far!

I bought this range approx. 6 months ago and have had nothing but trouble with it so far.
1.Fan was noisy 2. burner didn't work 3. warming burner didn't work 4. LED light on cooktop doesn't work. All problems have been fixed by service Co. but I have had to stay home waiting for them 6 times so far because they come & diagnose the problem and then order the new part and come and install it another day. Also the panel with writing on it for all of the burners and oven does not lite up and you can't see it in low light.

Induction cooktop dead after 2 months

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were very excited to start using our new range with induction cooktop... all was working great, I appreciated the new electric oven, the induction was great for cooking anything and a breeze to clean... however 2 month after it was installed the cooktop lost power entirely. A repair man was dispatched quickly but his diagnostic was “bad main control board” to be replaced. That was 2 weeks ago and the part has not been delivered and won’t be until at least 2 more weeks. In the meantime we have to improvise cooking with the grill or oven. I’m very disappointed by the poor reliability and construction.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
