I was avid gym member, going 4 times a week and generally used the elliptical there. When my gym closed for Covid-19, I wanted to continue my work out. The resistance is much greater than what was used to at the gym, however I see that as a strong point. By the end of my work-out, I can definitely feel the burn in my muscles. It took a bit to put together but worked well once I was done. I am enjoying my home work outs immensely.

I'm OCD about purchases, especially big ones like this. After looking at all the ellipticals and reviews, I chose this one and it was an easy choice. At this price it cannot be beat. 1. Notice the double rails per side. Most in this price range have one. It adds to the sturdiness, durability, and smoothness. 2. Color LCD. Another feature beating others at this price. 3. Good stride length. 4. This thing is well built and heavy. 5. Quiet 6. Everything about this beats anything in the price range. And I didn't see a need to spend more, this is everything I need. 7. Icing on the cake: aesthetically appealing!

I love this thing. I use it daily from the day I assembled it. Incredibly easy to use. It only took me 2.5 hrs to assemble by myself. Recommend watching the assembly video first (bowflex site or youtube). Yes it is very large and very heavy but I do not see these as CONS. They are PROS to me, solidly built with good material.

Enjoying my Bowflex BXE116 Elliptical workout

The different workout options that come with the elliptical are very challenging but it feels good afterwards. The console is easy to operate and you can make your own workouts and track them with an app on your phone. My two drawbacks are that is kind of hard to peddle even when all the settings are low. When I am gripping and hand grips in the middle the swinging arms can hit my arms so I have to be careful.
