I own a Max Trainer and am very happy with it and wanted to add another piece of fitness equipment to our home gym. I'm disappointed with this elliptical. It is already malfunctioning with a huge wobble coming from the main front wheel. Also, I'm only 5'10" but my knees hit the cup holder unless I keep my heels off the back of the foot pedals. I'm sure the fitness components are good, but this machine does not function properly for me.
Cons: Poor design, Wobbles Under Use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We purchased our elliptical to get a quick workout in our busy lives. Like other reviews I have read, it is heavy and a beast. I weigh over the weight limit and feel no worries with using it, it feels very solid and secure. We had to help the deliver guy bring it into our house (not bowflex fault , delivary guy didn't want to get the equipment off his truck to make it easy on us). Assembly was easy and took us longer cause it was late and we were tired. Instructions are easy to follow and make sure everything is tight and if you hear noises double check everything is tight. We put it together and thought everything was tight but after a few times using it we had a noise. When we check everything we found the bolts holding a piece on were almost off so make sure everything is tight. Also double check the height clearance, I am six foot and only have a 4 - 6 inches of clearance to my basement ceiling when on the elliptical. #sweepstakes

I am completely defeated by this elliptical.. but that's OK because I'm overweight and it will be like the turtle at the race but I will eventually conquer this thing.. it is everything I wanted and more!! it's an amazing workout machine!!
