I had a Nordictrack elliptical for many years. I really liked it. At the time I bought it, it was top of the line for home use. The Bowflex 216 is better! It is much harder (which is a good thing)! Because it is harder, I can cut my workouts down to 20-25 minutes. I would definitely recommend if you are in the market for a new elliptical!
Pros: Operates Smoothly, Quiet, Sturdy Base

I have always wanted to own Bowflex equipment. Its one of the best brands out on the market. Pricey though... so it took some saving, but I am so happy and proud to have Bowflex in my home gym now! You get what you pay for and with Bowflex you get quality craftsmanship and bells and whistles too! Love the huge display screen, and the pre-set workouts too! I often use the CUSTOM button each time I create a new workout in manual mode that I really want to do again. Awesome feature - love it! No negative comments at this time... still very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend to others. Thank you Bowflex! I have been a huge fan for many many years and now I finally have you!
Pros: Easy To Use, Operates Smoothly, Quiet, Sturdy Base
Cons: Hard To Store

Now that all the gyms are closed due to the pandemic, we are fortunate that we purchased this when a major store was going out of business a year ago. This machine is so much harder than the one at the gym, and I workout five times a week (cardio/weights) for the past 15 years. Not only is it tough with stamina, but also it really works your quads/hams due to the way the pedals are designed. It's a love/hate relationship. The flaws of the machine are how the arms are designed - it makes it difficult to maneuver your water bottle, towel, or buttons on the machine. You will almost always get "hit" by the arms, and I am not a large person.
Pros: Easy To Use, Operates Smoothly
Cons: Design is flawed

I honestly just started using it two days ago. My husband had to put I together when he had time being that he is a firefighter of the Philadelphia Fire Department and his schedule is very busy. But now that its together I will use it maybe three times a week to start with my goal being to use it every other day.
Pros: Operates Smoothly, Quiet, Sturdy Base

The BXE216 is a new pice of fitness equipment to me. Just got it maybe a month ago and am hooked. It really gives me a great workout and seems much more difficult, for lack of a better word, the my local fitness gym. I have lost 60lbs using my Bowflex BXT216 Teadmill and am excited to see what the elleptical will do to help me maintain a healthy lifestyle
