Issues with touchpad/pointer device

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When trying to use 2 finger scroll on web pages, windows screens, etc cursor frequently locks up, have to wait for several seconds & sometimes need to re-click on screen in order to be able to scroll again. I have reached out to New Egg & Asus and essentially they indicate that need to update all drivers, this has not helped, I need to reach out to support again, but very disappointing in a unit that is supposed to have a very fast processor. Issue has existed since first boot up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to use for beginners and pro's

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my 8 year old son who I thought was to young for such an expensive product and being a single mom I thought I would never be able to afford it however I bought it. He was so imcredibly happy. He and I unboxed it, set it up which was really was and he got playing. He loves it and I will say it was very easy to setup and follow directions I feel like the beginner and the pro would love this My son has learned already so much in the short time he has had it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fast and Great Color

I am not a gamer, I bought this laptop for my photography hobby. It's fast and the colors are vivid. Researching various sites, they recommended a gaming system, fat and colors. I chose the laptop for it's portability as I like to travel. Battery is more than sufficient as I would never be far from a power outlet. I really like the colorful keyboard, totally unexpected. the keyboard has a nice firm quality touch though I do use a mouse as I never warmed up to a touch pad. I just wish Windows 10 didn't try to do so much for you 95 was better or even 8.1 on my Surface Pro 3 tablet.

Got the vivid laptop for Xmas was great but not everything thing I wanted so I took back shelled out almost double the money and ordered it on dec 31 . I wanted a lit keyboard and a 17 inch

Fantastic and Affordable

I bought this over the summer and it made quarantine EASY! Great Features, thin and rugged look, without being chinsey feeling. VR ready right out of the box. My only critique would be the ports. 2x USB 3.0, 1x USB 2.0, 1x Ethernet, 1x HDMI and thats it. They are all on 1 side, the other side couldve had some additional USB and interface ports in my opinion.
