Monitor stopped charging in less than a year

The monitor won't charge and it's been less than a year that I've had it. I contacted the manufacturers warrantee and after looking at a picture, told me the charging port is damaged. There is no damage to the port... perhaps a way for them to get out of replacing the defective product. It's a pricey monitor and for it to last less than a year is disappointing. Buyer beware! The manufacturers warrantee is terrible.

Everything is good but the battery life

We are happy with the purchase however we noticed that after not even an hour of being unplugged and fully charged the battery seems to die. We keep it plugged into the charger 80% of the time. Would have been great if it had a better battery life

WORST DESIGN IN THE HISTORY OF BABY MONITORS

Bought this because of the flexibility of the handheld unit or the ability to use an app. Video quality is good but there’s a 3 second delay on the audio. Based on the features and quality of video, I would’ve given this 4.5 stars HOWEVER.....there is a blue light in the camera that flashes constantly. It’s so bright, it lights up the whole nursery. My now 4 month old can’t sleep because of it. To add insult to injury, the handheld unit has a green and blue light that are constantly on. Because it’s on our bedside table at night, it lights up our whole room too. We tried covering it with electrical tape, painting the plastic frame black and NOTHING works. I called Motorola and they acknowledged the design flaw but said there’s nothing they can do. I just ordered a different monitor from Amazon. I hate this stupid thing. DO NOT BUY IT.

Quality not good for price

I purchased this monitor because the reviews said it worked well, it's a good monitor overall I suppose but not for the price point.
It says it features remote pan and tilt, but it's pitiful. It barely moves at all. I had to mount it to my wall up super high and off to the side so I could get the entire crib because the pan and tilt feature is not as good as it's said to be.
The quality of the video is not good either, quite blurry and it changes from a red tinge to normal color constantly too.
It's also alot of effort to use the features on the parent monitor unit. It's not just a simple press of a button like it used to be when I had a motorola monitor 6 years ago.
I will be returning this and getting a different monitor.

Honestly, if I didn’t buy this monitor long before my baby was born I would probably return it.
The battery life is absolutely awful. I have it on for a hour -2 max, not plugged in and it’s dead by evening.
For some reason the connection between the camera and the video recorder disconnect for a second and it beeps on my camera quite often as well. I am maybe 20-30 feet from the base.
Picture quality and sound ok, but the battery life is annoying and I’m sure you could get a better monitor for this price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don’t bother go buy comfort 85

I got the comfort 75-2 which is the two cameras. This one is the one camera. I was disappointed after opening the box.
After setup this system has very minimal functions.
Speakers sound bad. Video is fine.
Does not connect to the wifi. Can only use the display to monitor.
I went back and got the comfort85 was very happy with features. I can have it on an app and it will play sounds in the background while I have my phone on other screens.
Go buy the comfort 85. It’s worth the little extra.

Motorola Comfort 75 monitor- single camera

After nearly three months with this model (our third since the birth of our baby- almost four months old) I believe this is one of the best monitors on the market.
Benefits: Over sized screen that is clear and large enough to see baby’s chest rise and falls. Volume is excellent and the features to bring baby into view are easy to use.
We use this monitor as a single camera monitor and have had no issues. User friendly/ easy to use once you get the hang of the buttons. Two step process to move/tilt camera and one step for volume and brightness.
Negatives: no zoom. I wish there was a stand that was made for this model to bring it up and over sleeping baby in crib. Currently sits on the ledge of crib but once baby is older/we travel I will want it up and away from reaching hands and for it to attach to a travel crib.
Also, we had issues with night vision for a very short time around dawn. When the room (no black out curtains/curtains of any kind) was not quite dark but had limited light filtering in. The camera picked up too much light to automatically turn night mode on but was still to dark to be able to properly see.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overall, this monitor does the job. I like that it displays temp, sound is good, camera quality is ok. My one complaint is the connectivity. If we are using the internet in our home, the monitor will continually cut out and beep until we shut it off (watching netflix, husband using playstation, etc). I got this on sale, so not a huge deal but if I had to do it over, I wouldn't purchase this one again.
