I printed at least 2,000 pages easily.

I think some of these reviews are fake.
I own a tutoring center, and I honestly print 10+ pages per day.
times 5 work per week...that is 2,600 pages, which makes sense because I changed it once a year at most. Also! I stretch the life by printing only 300dpi, black and white, and no graphics, just textbooks, math worksheets, contracts, etc.

Great page yields, crisp printing

I also suspect some of the negative reviews on these pages to be fake - placed here by the companies that make cheap knock-offs. I easily got past 2,000 pages and then some.

You whiners should go back to inkjets, and who counts how many sheets you get out of a cartridge, i have 2 teenagers that loves to print and these last a lot longer than any i have owned, and i have owned a few since windows 3.0, its been a great product for 3 years and i have no complaints about how long the toner lasts.

my first cartridge that came with my laser printer lasted over 2 years,,i printed BnW layouts for property and houses, also many tax map specs. I installed the TN660 approximately 7 months ago in March ,,still printing all of the above so for me they work great and cost factor not a problem,

I have been using this mproduct for over ten years. It is completely reliable and I don't need those individual inks thyat smaller units use. Install it and forget it. Great.

Printer MFRs Lie on the Capacity page count

My starter cartridge on the L2320D came no where near the 700 pages Brother advertises I got maybe `100 pages with no graphics and no fine print. Brother will say it all depends and I read they follow ISO standards. But the starter toner came no where near being sufficient.

We understand your Brother TN660 cartridge did not last long. We'd like to help. The stated page yields for genuine Brother cartridges are based on the ISO testing standards. The number of pages that can be printed with a cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content (graphics, charts, etc.). Print jobs with large text fonts, graphics, charts, and/or large amount of solid coverage (black or any given color) will use much more toner and will shorten the life of the toner cartridge.
