It was purchased as a replacement for a similar samsonite carryon bag that broke and I didn’t have time to wait for it to be fixed. This bag is similar with slightly different features some better some worse. While taking my bag through the airport I had issues keeping it moving in a straight line. I had to push it at an angle to make it move straight.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Took it on a 1-week trip recently and I love it. It’s very spacious. The wheels run smoothly. Measurements: 14.25” W x 22.5” H (including wheels) x 9” D. It is also expandable. I was able to fit it on the overhead compartments on the planes.

Great carry on, enough space for few days of travel. Quality seems to be very high. Zips are sturdy. Wheels seem also strong and roll easily. In terms of measurements, many say it won’t qualify for carry on. I believe it will because my old carry one was at least 3 inches taller and wider and I always carried it up to the cabin In national or international flights without any problem. I am overall completely satisfied.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with the Samsonite Ascella X Carry-on Spinner. When it comes to carry-on bags, I am looking for something that has great handling (especially with the wheels), and ease of use with pushing the handle up and down. This spinner is very smooth and easy to use and roll around, has great handling of the wheels, can be expanded, has great quality zippers and fabric, and is spacious including two outside zippers. This bag is relatively lightweight, and I can't wait to use it for my future travel plans (hopefully after the pandemic). I have received this complimentary product in return for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions expressed herein are mine only.
