I bought this case about 6 months ago and it has withstood many multiple work trips without any failure. It looks lovely and is always easy to spot amongst the other black bags because of the attractive and solid gold zippers. An Excellent A+ purchase

Used it for the first time on a road trip. Roomier than I thought it would be. Lost points because the zipper in the lining is missing the pull. I don’t think l need to use the zipper. Otherwise works fine.

It's sturdy and stylish. Its companion carry-on piece handles shifting and placement in overhead bins very well in the past year with more than a dozen cross country excursions. I expect the 28" to fare just as well. I do get concerned about the wheels but those have been robust, only occasionally getting stuck between an angle where it rolls flat straight up and roll it on its side (flat is better).
