Horrible Burning Smell

This product is terrible. It generates a horrible burning smell that is worse than any odour you are trying to eliminate. The burning smell is still there 6 months after purchasing and using unit. The smell does not go away. Honestly, this is one of the worst air purifiers. Stay away. Google "germ guardian smell" and you will find many more reviews with others sharing the same issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
