No other robot on the market comes close to cleaning tiled floors, such as large bathrooms. iRobot you need to resolve Scooba 450 issues and sell this product again. And no, it does not need WiFi connectivity or an app or subscription model for the spare parts. Just make it clean please.

It's really the best wet vacuum I used so far. Bought it several times though it spoilt after average of 2-3 years. As I hate mopping floors, it's really worth the investment. I could let it run by itself while out for grocery shopping. By the time I reached home, the floor was spotless clean. Didn't have to clean the mop cloths like other models. Easy to clean the brush. Saved water. My best pal. Really miss it.

Ever since the Scooba was discontiued, I've cried every night. My floor misses magical cleaning of the Scooba. This stupid Braava machine doesn't know how to do a single thing, poser. If the higher ups at iRobot doesn't bring back the Scooba, I will riot. BRING BACK THE SCOOBA.

In a market of microfiber spray "mops", there is a huge hole that the Scooba could fill. The tank of dirty water at the end of the cycle was a clear indication of a clean floor. Microfiber cloths and sprays simple push dirty crud around the floor. I had the original version many years ago and the battery finally gave out. When I went to buy a new one, I found out they were discontinued and the replacement is clearly inferior. Please bring back the Scooba! It was a sanity saver!

Poor battery life

When I became a single dad with two kids mopping the floor quickly went to the bottom of the list of priorities, I just didn't have time for it, so this tool was everything I wanted it to be. I could set it and go work on other things. After about six months the battery would no longer hold a charge. It would start working and die about a minute later. The company sent a replacement battery and a USB memory stick to fix a known problem with the charger. The replacement battery lasted maybe 3 months. Batteries are not cheap. If I'm going to have to replace a rechargeable battery that's supposed to last for years every few months then I might as well just mop the floor myself. And if you don't use the thing for more than a week the rubber valves dry out and it will NOT dispense any liquids until you unseal them. I found that taking a balloon hand pump, adding water to it, then pumping it over the valves would wet and unseal them. Sort of a pain but it works. I will not purchase another one of these things even though I loved it while it lasted until they get batteries that are at least up to the quality of the device itself.
Pros: Cleans Well When It Works
Cons: Battery Won't Last Long, Valves Dry And Jam

It is the only robot floor mop that collects dirty water. Everything else I seen just pushes the dirt around the room, and would only be useful for dusting an already clean flor. Why has this been discontinued and not developed further? A successor would need an auto charging dock as well as app and smart home control.
